Day 59 + 6

Still working on this amazing fridge...priming it.

Dad put the sanding/sealer on the stove.

I finished cleaning up the diamond I messed-up on.

This is the floor before,

sanded,

pretty rough,

yikes!

Now after 1st coat.

Looking pretty good.

Oh, I don't think I showed the fabric I got for the little house.  These will work for the curtains, pot holders, hand towels, seat cushions and aprons.

Now that the interior has 3 coats and looking great, time to put on the 1st coat of the ballerina pink.

I love this fridge!

Dad working hard on the sink unit.

Why yes that is a Corian counter on the sink cabinet.

What, only the best for our little girls!

So I have to say, this time working with Dad has been one of the greatest gifts ever.  Really the time spent building with Dad has been such a blessing to me.  And as you know Dad loves Country music.  This is what we listen to most of the day.  I have found tunes running through my head that include, "Red Solo Cup", "On the Pontoon", Songs about the PoPo but today really took the cake.  I had to stop your Dad when we were talking because I couldn't believe what they were singing about.  I had to actually ask him, "Did they just say
And I'd like to check you for ticks.?"

Well I had to look up the words and here is the chorus.

'Cause I'd like to see you out in the moonlight
I'd like to kiss you way back in the sticks
I'd like to walk you through a field of wildflowers
And I'd like to check you for ticks.

I'm just letting you know the influence I have had over the last two months.  If I break out singing, "I like girls who drink beer", please don't judge me :)
