Day 10 of the Playhouse build

So today we, Ok, Dad makes the gussets for the truss.

We put up the first one and it looks pretty good.

I continue to pt the other 4 truss together on the ground.

But then the inspector shows up

As usual every thing slows down.

She can't believe what she is seeing.

So is so disgusted she calls in the field inspector to go over her findings.

He too agrees with her findings.

He wants to see bigger guns.

So we bring this little fellow in.

Dad would have used it first but it was on loan to Steve Johnson.

The 2nd truss does not go in as easy.  In fact this whole wall is sort of our problem child.

But of course the Project Manager has it all figured out and we are back in business again.

This makes 3.

Number 4 right on track.

And the final one goes in with ease.

Dad's legs are not feeling like they are going in with ease but isn't it beautiful?  Of course the truss ends will be cut.  We have blocking, fascia and then the sheeting.  We almost have a roof.  So exciting!
