It's called Furnace Creek, in Death Valley. It takes 4 1/2 hours to get there so he will be staying the week and come home on the week-end.
They said that they swim every night after work.
I guess the food is great. There is a breakfast buffet and it is all free. So it looks like a pretty rough job...but somebody has to do it.
This is one of the rooms Dad might be staying in.
Jack Huntsman had been on this job. He worked two weeks and then they got another contract for more work. The bad thing for Jack is he hurt his foot playing softball. He had been in a soft cast and on crutches all week. He still can't get in to see the ortho, but is going in for additional x-rays tomorrow. In any case they called Dad and said he was going. So at least for one more week, the Lord has provided. He is so good to us!
